President, NRAA
The National Renal Administrators Association (NRAA) congratulates Rep. Tom Price on his confirmation by the United States Senate to be the Secretary of Health and Human Services, the principle agency for protecting the health of all Americans.
As of April 2016, 468,000 Americans are on dialysis1 with a growing economic impact across the board; from government programs to providers to individual patients. It is imperative for independent dialysis facilities to have their voices heard as quality reporting, care coordination and streamlined Medicare cost reporting continue to evolve.
We celebrate the clinical background and congressional experience that Congressman Price will bring to HHS and look forward to working with him to advocate progress for the independent, regional and community-based dialysis providers.
